Данный проект был приурочен к дате 24 мая 2020 и посвящается 80-летию со дня рождения гениального поэта, писателя, эссеиста и лауреата Нобелевской премии по литературе — Иосифа Бродского, его жизни и многообразному литературному наследию. Проект является дипломной работой для Европейского Гуманитарного Университета.
Целью проекта было создать серию плакатов, которые привлекут внимание к личности Иосифа Бродского и осовременят образ поэта. Каждый плакат посвящен определенной теме, которая важна для понимания его жизненного и творческого пути, характера, взглядов и ценностей. При создании плакатов задачей было отразить интересные факты из его биографии, но при этом уйти от стереотипов, связанных с образом Иосифа Бродского. Поэтому была выбрана достаточно яркая цветовая палитра и техника коллажа. Это позволило сделать плакаты более живыми и объемными.
При работе над проектом было использовано большое количество оригинальных фотографий, рукописей и рисунков Иосифа Бродского, а также его писем. Большая часть текста на плакатах является оригинальным почерком поэта, и взята из его записей, сохранившихся в архивах.
This project was timed to the date of May 24, 2020, and is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of the genius poet, writer, essayist, and Nobel Prize winner in literature - Joseph Brodsky, his life and diverse literary legacy. The project is the graduation work at European Humanities University.
The aim of the project was to create a series of posters that will draw attention to the personality of Joseph Brodsky and make the image of the poet more modern. Each poster focuses on a particular theme that is important for understanding his life and creative path, character, views, and values. When creating the posters the goal was to reflect interesting facts from his biography, but at the same time to get away from the stereotypes associated with the image of Joseph Brodsky. Therefore, a fairly bright color palette and collage technique were chosen. This allowed making the posters more lively and volumetric.
The project is based on a large number of original photos, manuscripts, and drawings of Joseph Brodsky, as well as his letters. Most of the text on the posters is the poet's original handwriting and is taken from his notes preserved in the archives.
На фоне книги размещены оригинальные рукописи Иосифа Бродского с его стихами, поверх которых красной линией сделаны пометки в стиле автора. Он любил подчеркивать слова, обводить их и оставлять множество пометок поверх своих записей.
In the background of the book are the original manuscripts of Joseph Brodsky with his poems. Above them are marked with a red line in the poet's style. He was fond of underlining words, circling them, and leaving a lot of marks over his notes.

Автопортрет Бродского, где он нарисовал себя в образе кота, пишущего стихи на набережной Венеции. А слева находится название венецианского кладбища, где автор похоронен.

Из воспоминаний друзей известно, что, покидая Ленинград, он взял с собой один чемодан, в котором помимо одежды было всего три предмета: книга Джона Донна, печатная машинка и бутылка водки.
The theme of the poet's exile from his native country and his frequent correspondence with family and friends. Postage stamps, stickers, and addresses are taken from Brodsky's archival letters. From the recollections of his friends, we know that when he left Leningrad, he took with him one suitcase with only three items besides his clothes: a book by John Donne, a typewriter, and a bottle of vodka.

Финальный аккорд серии. В виде занавеса, выложены фрагменты рукописей и рисунков Иосифа Бродского. Под ним стихотворение, написанное рукой автора и его подпись. Рыжий кот, как олицетворение самого автора. Именно в этом образе видел себя поэт, и именно рыжим котом называли его, как друзья и близкие, так и он сам.
The final chord of the series. As a curtain, fragments of Joseph Brodsky's manuscripts and drawings are laid out. Underneath it is a poem written in the hand of the author and his signature. The red cat is like a personification of the author himself. It was in this image that the poet saw himself, and it was the red cat that friends and relatives called him, as well as himself.
